The Teton Capital Company team is led by William "Bill" Donohue, who oversees all firm activities and spearheads business development efforts. A 32-year real estate veteran with significant multi-sector experience in property investment, development and management, Bill started in Seniors Housing in the early 1990's by being the founding statistician and author of The State of Seniors Housing, a groundbreaking effort to provide, for the first time, industry-specific market, financial and operational data and analysis to operators, investors, developers and lenders. Now in its 25th year, this annually published report has provided much needed transparency and facilitated informed investment in the industry. Prior to forming Teton Capital Co, Bill was with Grosvenor Fund Management, an international real estate investment management firm with global AUM of $6.8 billion (as of Dec 31, 2012), where he was on the investment committee, head of asset management in the U.S. and portfolio manager of a $200 million (equity) U.S. healthcare fund. Bill earned an A.B. degree from Princeton University and an M.B.A. degree from New York University, Stern School of Business.
Ralph O. Walton III
MANAGING DIRECTOR / ASSET MANAGEMENT
Ralph Walton directs all of Teton Capital Co's pre-closing due diligence and post-closing asset management activities. An experienced developer and operator of a wide variety of hospitality and resort properties, Ralph has been a principal and held executive positions where he was responsible for various aspects of finance, development and operations. In 2009, Ralph launched Cedar House Partners, a real estate investment and advisory firm focused on the seniors housing, healthcare, and hospitality sectors. Ralph earned a B.A. degree from Duke University and an M.B.A. degree from New York University, Stern School of Business.
Christopher Abbott, CFA
MANAGING DIRECTOR / ORIGINATIONS
Chris Abbott is responsible for sourcing, structuring and closing Teton Capital Co's investments. Prior to joining Teton Capital Co, Chris was a principal with Palladian Capital Advisors, a real estate investment bank, where he sourced over $2 billion in capital for a variety of real estate developments. Prior to Palladian, Chris was a principal and marketing and sales executive for a number of fractional real estate development projects. A Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), Chris earned a B.A. degree from Brown University.
